Research
I am a visiting researcher and PhD student in ecology and conservation.
I’m interested in investigating the impacts of agriculture and cattle activities on Amazonian birds, with emphasis on understanding how oil palm plantations impact bird communities. I am also keen to understand how landscape configuration impacts avian functional and phylogenetic diversity, and how effective riparian reserves are for biodiversity conservation.
I’ve been working with Amazonian birds since 2011, and have experience in field work surveys, especially in the Amazon Terra Firme Forest.
